BikiniBOD sounds pretty amazing, right? … Finally, a pill that will make us lose weight and look more beautiful !!

I wonder if it can do the laundry and pick up the kids from school as well.

BikiniBOD have two products at present – BikiniBOD: Ultimate Beauty Body Formula and Carb Control.

This article covers the first one and we will discuss Carb Control in another. Incidentally, for Carb Control, the company says if you take it you can keep eating donuts and cakes. Cool, eh? (would like to put a forehead-slap emoji here?).

BikiniBOD is a relatively simple supplement to understand. One half of its formula is designed as a fat burner / weight loss blend.

The other half consists of ingredients which are supposed to improve the quality and health of your hair, nails and skin.

Ultimately, it’s always about ingredients and dosages. There may be quite good ingredients in BikiniBOD but the proprietary formula makes it difficult to know whether they are at good doses.

Nevertheless, we have found products like this before and ended up loving them, so we looked at it in detail.

It has some great ingredients, as already mentioned, but in our opinion there are better ways to go, which will be explained in the relevant sections of this review.

BikiniBOD in Detail

We first became aware of BikiniBOD because they were all over social media making themselves known and luring women into their web of temptation, promising all sorts of amazing results…

We’ve heard it all before, but the difference with BikiniBOD was that they are at least putting some additional – and appealing – effort into their products.

When you buy a package of both their products (BikiniBOD + BikiniBOD Carb Control), you are going to get a sparkly nutrition plan and a 28 day workout guide. So that’s nice.

What’s more interesting to most women is the addition of a “beauty” element to the formula in the capsules.

The “Hair, Skin and Nails Blend” is laid out on the label below the “Thermo Blend”.

Now, there are no individual details of the inclusion weights but at least all the ingredients are listed.
The packaging is clean and good looking, the prices are in the upper-average range and the customer support seems to be present and active.

However, it’s really the ingredients that make a product worthwhile or not, so we took a closer look at them.

Key Ingredients

500mg     – BikiniBOD Proprietary Blend

The BikiniBOD Proprietary Blend consists of the Thermo Blend and the Hair, Skin and Nails Blend:

• Caffeine Anhydrous
• Uva Ursi
• Bitter Orange Extract (50% Synephrine)
• L-Theanine
• Raspberry Ketones
• Yohimbe
• Garcinia Extract
• Toothed Clubmoss

Hair, Skin and Nails Blend

• Grape and Grape Seed Extract
• Blueberry Extract
• Raspberry and Raspberry Seed Extract
• Cranberry
• Prune
• Sour Cherry
• Bilberry Extract
• Strawberry
• Green Coffee Bean Extract
• Green Tea Extract

NOTE: A daily dose is 2 capsules, so double all the above.

Caffeine, Bitter Orange and Yohimbe are the clear fat burners of the Thermo Blend. Together these are quite potent, but again we don’t really know how much there is.

L-Theanine takes the edge off the stimulants above, and can help the release of alpha-waves in the brain, improving cognitive function

Garcinia contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which may inhibit the synthesis of fatty acids.

The Hair, Skin and Nails blend even contains some ingredients usually found in diet pills, such as Green Coffee and Green Tea. However, they are at the bottom of the pile of ingredients and therefore must be present in tiny amounts.

The majority of this blend is based on sketchy science at the minute. Most of them have good potential for benefits to the hair, skin and nails but time will tell and dosage will be important. We are not sure there’s enough evidence to stake a lot on the second major part of BikiniBOD yet.

As for Biotin, that’s a proven ingredient for hair and nail growth. it’s even meant to convert some of your fat to energy. All we know so far is that we’re cutting our nails more often, and they look good.

Side Effects and Health Issues

Most people will be able to use BikiniBOD without any problems, according to the recommended usage guidelines on the bottle.

In our opinion, the only ingredient that may present problems to certain people is Yohimbe. It is an interesting ingredient, however it has been known to cause anxiety, especially in young adults.

It may also contribute to nervous system effects such as over-stimulation. This is compounded by the presence of other stimulants like bitter orange and caffeine.

Again, we are sure the dosages have been well thought out but it is a point to consider nonetheless. If you suffer from anxiety, depression or any other similar condition, OR are taking medication for one, it is probably wise to at least ask your doctor about it.

In fact, people with medical conditions and women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or considering either, should avoid this product.

Is BikiniBOD Recommended?

We have gone through the usual review process with BikiniBod and come to the conclusion that it has good ingredients but is yet another product that falls short of the manufacturing company’s self-inflated hype.

We’ll finish by saying that the more ingredients a product has, the less impact each one can have in a given dosage. That’s why it’s best to get a fat burner to burn fat and a hair product to improve hair health and so on…
