“Cute idea but not much of an impact on weight loss”
Summary
Skinny Coffee Club is an online store which promotes their own coffee based formula, which they say is “clinically proven” to help you lose weight, amongst other benefits.
The product itself comes in simple brown bags of the coffee house takeaway style, complete with cute pink labels on them.
We’re interested in the ingredients of course, because whether or not it looks a bit gimmicky, it might be a stellar recipe for weight loss.
There are two blends in fact, an “Original” and the “Night Edition”, which contains decaffeinated coffee.
The original formula is clearly the one intended to be the workhorse, but it contains fairly standard weight loss ingredients, of which Green Tea extract is probably the one with the best reputation for fat burning.
Skinny Coffee Club is a nice idea, but the originality of the concept is perhaps the only thing that sets it apart from many other mediocre diet products.

Skinny Coffee Club in Detail
The Skinny Coffee Club is targeting women almost exclusively in their marketing campaign. The pretty model on the website serves to present the idealistic body type many women are eager to obtain.
Unfortunately, models tend to work a lot harder at their physique than making a few cups of “skinny” coffee and many are unhealthy in their endeavours.
Benefits such as “Works Without Exercise” which are front and centre on the Skinny Coffee Club site only play into this unhealthy weight loss attitude, rather than promoting exercise and a good diet alongside the coffee as a balanced lifestyle.
Skinny Coffee Club Programs
Purchasing options range from the 28 Day Program to the 12 Week Program, in either the Original (Day) or Night Edition blends.
There are options for a combined 28 Day and Night Program.
The programs are essentially just packages containing enough for that period of time; they don’t come with an accompanying training or diet program of any kind.
Promoted Benefits
Aside from the aforementioned benefit there are a couple interesting claims made by the Skinny Coffee Club that don’t necessarily turn up on every diet pill label out there.
- Improves Complexion – Radiant Glow
- Simple, Tasty and Gets Fast Results
Other more common benefits are as follows:
- Clinically Proven for Weight Loss
- Results In Less than a Week
- Increases Energy Levels
Key Ingredients
There are two blends of Skinny Coffee: Original and Night Edition.
Original contains a 63mg dose of caffeine, which is fairly low even compared to a regular cup of coffee. The Original blend recipe consists of:
- Ground Coffee
- Ground Green Coffee Bean extract
- Green Tea extract powder
- Garcinia Cambogia
- Siberian Ginseng powder
- Spirulina powder
Each serving contains 6 calories.
The Night Edition consists of:
- Decaffeinated Ground Coffee
- Fennel
- Spirulina
- Chlorella
Spirulina and Chlorella are algae that are considered superfoods.
Garcinia Cambogia and Green Coffee have appetite suppressing capabilities and may possible reduce fat by means not completely known at the moment, via chlorogenic acid (green coffee) and hydroxycitric acid (garcinia).
Side Effects and Health Issues
It is prudent to check with your doctor as to whether you should have Chlorella specifically but also the other ingredients, especially if you have a medical condition or are taking prescription medication for something.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use this product or any other supplement that is not recommended by their doctor.
Is Skinny Coffee Club Recommended?
As we have mentioned a couple times throughout this review, the idea is an interesting one: Get people to feel that they are a part of something bigger – with the “Club” theme – and go with a nice and simple looking takeaway coffee product, instead of the usual pills and shakes.
Maybe as an antioxidant treatment, and a way to make coffee both less intense and a bit healthier, it is a good thing.
However, we don’t find it to be a powerful supplement for losing weight, and it doesn’t instil any feelings of community which a “club” ought to.
Pills and capsules might be a well worn method of getting the formula into your body but the good ones are good for a reason.
