“Look elsewhere, T5 is not the answer”
T5 Platinum is a fat burner manufactured by Xellerate Nutrition in the UK. The company claims that these pills can have several benefits to the user, primarily in the form of weight loss.
The promised benefits of T5 Platinum are as follows:
- Increased Energy
- Accelerated Fat Loss
- Improved Metabolic Rate
Xellerate products, including T5 Platinum, are mostly sold on third party retailer sites like Amazon and ebay.
In fact, an internet search using the best search engines would probably leave you wondering whether the company exists at all.
At best, the closest match will be a business marketing company called Xellerate which has precisely nothing to do with diet pills.
So how good can a product be that is made by a company who cannot be found easily?
T5 Platinum – A Closer Look
There are no surprises in the promised benefits. All fat burners tend to offer similar results more or less.
The way a product like this achieves this is in the formula of ingredients.
Some of the most hardcore looking products have weak formulas, and some of the more reserved looking diet pills are like dynamite.
The point is: don’t judge a book by its cover, or a far burner by its bottle. It’s all in the recipe.
Key Ingredients and Formula Potency
The following ingredients can be found in each pill of T5 Platinum:
- Green Tea – 4000 mg (10:1 extract)
- L-Carnitine – 150 mg
- Caffeine – 75 mg
- Citrus Aurantium – 30mg
- Green Coffee – 500 mg (20:1)
- Alpha Lipoic Acid – 15 mg
There are some definite strengths and weaknesses in this recipe.
The most glaring negatives are the levels of Citrus Aurantium and Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Citrus Aurantium provides a compound called p-synephrine, which is the active ingredient that can burn fat.
Synephrine is effective in the range of 7.5 to 20 mg per day, depending on other stimulants taken with it and the user’s tolerance level. Citrus Aurantium usually only provides 10% synephrine by weight, meaning this product might provide 3 mg.
…but we just don’t know.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a water soluble mitochondrial fatty acid, which has anti-oxidant benefits as well as being instrumental in energy metabolism.
More is good, but in the 300 – 600 mg range. Not 15 mg!
In addition, the L-Carnitine dosage appears to be low. There is enough evidence to say that this fat transporter is effective at doses upward of 500 mg.
The formula is less powerful than we’d hoped. There are certainly better options available to you.
Side Effects and Health Issues
Average people will not have any problems taking T5 Platinum.
Of course, if you have a medical condition then you should not take any products of this kind without speaking with your doctor first.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women should also avoid fat burners completely.
If you have any doubts whether you should use a product like this, speak with your doctor.
Is T5 Platinum from Xellerate Recommended?
In short: No.
There are better options available to you. We have reviewed many fat burners and tend not to recommend those connected with companies that cannot easily be contacted, or even found.
The blend of ingredients on the label isn’t enough to make us think about using it.
Again, we have researched so many of these products, we know what is quality and what is not.
We recommend LeanBean – a multi action diet pill that address hormonal imbalance, a leading cause of weight gain
